Larry Murray - Senior Pastor

Larry was born in 1968 and was raised in Austin and Garland, Texas. He trusted in Christ as his Saviour at an early age and was a member of Reinhardt Bible Church in Dallas as a youth. Larry first considered ministry as a vocation following a mission trip to Haiti with Walt Baker. After watching him serve and preach on the trip, Walt encouraged Larry to consider attending seminary. In 1992 they moved to Mesquite and Larry began his seminary work at DTS. At the same time, he was hired as a staff member at Lake Ridge Bible Church in Mesquite. He served as High School Director and was also responsible for various administrative duties. Larry earned his Master of Theology in Pastoral Leadership in 1996 and was hired as Associate Pastor at LRBC at that time.

In February, 2004, Larry accepted the position of Senior Pastor at PBC. Larry and his wife DeeDee have three children, Michael, Lauren, and Stephen.

Matt McDonald - Pastor of Student Ministries

Matt grew up as missionary kid in Bangladesh and the Philippines before returning to the U.S. as a 6th grader. As a fourteen year old, Matt sensed God's leading into pastoral ministry, due in large part to the influence of his youth pastor. As a high school student, Matt led in his youth group at church and started a Bible study at his high school in Pennsylvania. He then attended Cedarville University in Ohio where he completed a Bachelor's degree in communications, as well as serving in a local church as the Jr. High leader. While at Cedarville, Matt met Rebecca, and they were married in December, 2003. In the summer of 2004, Matt served as the Interim Youth Pastor at a Bible church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The McDonalds moved to Dallas in August 2004 for Matt to pursue a Master’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary.
